Dunes Hotel and Beach resort is located on the North coast of Margarita Island, just about 10 minutes from downtown Juan Griego; the second commercial town of the Island and 20 minutes from Santiago Marino International Airport. This self contained resort was designed in a Spanish colonial style which gives it a nice fashioned character. A complete resort complex built in two sections. There are a total of 330 rooms. All rooms have featured with individually controlled air conditioning, cable color TV with remote control, small fridge, direct dial telephone, private bathroom with shower and hot and cold water. Rooms are divided in double, Queen or King size bed. There are also 2 bedroom Junior Suites for larger families; up to 5 persons per suite. Golf its available at an optional cost, next door at the Hesperia Golf and Spa Hotel. Motorized water sports, car rental and gift shop also available at the Hotel. Daily activities, non motorized water sports and night shows are included in the All Inclusive package. Dunes Hotel Beach Resort have three Restaurants: main Restaurant offering international cuisine, Luciano, Italian restaurant and The Beach Club offering snacks and cocktails. There is also a pool side snack bar, an activities bar a disco, cinema and four conference rooms. The Resort facilities include: 3 pools 5 tennis courts multi-sport area gym solarium, scuba school and beauty parlor. There is direct access to its private Puerto Cruz Beach and  lighthouse.
