Elbow Beach Bermuda

This elegant resort hotel is situated above Elbow Beach; one of the finest beaches in Bermuda. The main hotel building dates back to 1908 but since then the hotel has seen many changes. The main hotel houses 131 guest rooms and a further 104 cottages suites and garden rooms are dotted around the hotel’s 50 acres of landscaped gardens, approximately five minutes driving distance from downtown Hamilton and 25 minutes from Kindley Field Airport. Elbow Beach is managed by the Mandarin Oriental Group and in recent years has undergone massive renovations. All accommodations, regardless of type, offer the following facilities: 24-hour room service, dive shop, cycle shop, full service spa and fitness center, jogging trail, fax/photocopy service, hi-speed internet access and business center. Guests may also enjoy five tennis courts, Olympic-sized pool, beauty salon, water sports, and putting green. Onsite drinks and dining are available at the Seahorse Grill, Mickey's Beach Bistro & Bar, Veranda Bar, Poolside Restaurant. Rooms feature A/C, hi-speed Internet access, mini-bars, in-room safes, cable TVs, irons, ironing boards, radios, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryers, umbrellas, coffeemakers, and Molton Brown amenities. Elbow Beach offers a host of dining and entertainment options. The Seahorse Grill serves contemporary Bermudian cuisine while Lido, located above the beach, serves Mediterranean-inspired seafood. Grape Bay Beach Hotel

Grape Bay Beach Hotel is formerly knew as the White Sands Hotel. Strategically located on the South Shore in Paget, 5 minutes from Hamilton and a short stroll to Grape Bay Beach. Buses can be caught on the South Road to both Hamilton and the Royal Naval Dockyard. It’s a bit of a walk to the stop but the hotel operates a shuttle service for those who don’t fancy renting a scooter from local liveries Eve’s Cycles or Oleander Cycles. The recently redesigned Belmont Hills Golf Course is just a few minutes drive away, as is the immensely popular Elbow Beach. Other nearby attractions include Paget Marsh, the Railway Trail and the Bermuda Botanical Gardens. The Hotel is owned by Bermuda Resort Hotels who also run the Harmony Club, Surf Side Beach Club and the Wharf Executive Suites. Having recently reopened after 18 months of hibernation, the hotel has experienced a rebirth with renovations to the main lobby, rooms and makeover of the poolside snack bar to a first class restaurant (Sapori) which means flavors of the world serving breakfast, lunch and dinner: pizza, pasta, Thai, sushi and great Bermudian dishes.
