Latin Tours General Policies

The vacation packages advertised in this site have been arranged by LATIN TOURS Wholesaler and Tour Operator. Located in Orlando, FL, U.S.A. Responsibility

All information printed in these pages had been checked and determined to be accurate at the time of printing. However;

LATIN TOURS, its subsidiaries, affiliates, representatives and local handling agents of employees of any subsidiary company.
By utilizing or buying our services listed in these pages, you agree that either LATIN TOURS, or its associated companies or agents only act as an agent between the passenger and the entities or persons who supply the services indicated in Airline tickets or Vouchers, namely: Transportation Companies, Hotels, Restaurants, etc. Consequently:
LATIN TOURS is not liable for non-fulfillment or failure in the service provided by the suppliers. All confirmation of services, receipts, tickets, vouchers, coupons or exchange orders are issued subject to the terms and conditions stated by the supplier.
LATIN TOURS and or associated companies or agents assume NO RESPONSIBILITY, NOR LIABILITY, whatsoever for losses, personal injury, death, accidents or damage to a customer, property, arising out of the act of negligence limiting the foregoing or otherwise in connection with any Transfer, Accommodation, Air transportation, Boat or other service, resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, terrorism, danger, incident in the sea, fire ,breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities ,wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strike, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, delays or cancellations, itinerary or tour changes, baggage loss or damage, hotel room or seating assignments, schedules, shortened vacation, time or from any cause beyond the company's control and neither the affiliate companies shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained by the tour member as a result of the foregoing causes.
LATIN TOURS, reserves the right to substitute any Air carrier, Hotel or any other service mentioned in these pages to comparable facilities within the same or better category. Due to circumstances beyond our control, changes in itinerary or flight dates may be necessary but will be kept to a minimum and only when strictly necessary.
LATIN TOURS, reserves the right to refuse services to any person who has acquired a voucher in violation of applicable law, rules or regulations of our company.
All vouchers are property of LATIN TOURS and must be returned intact if services are cancelled
LATIN TOURS is not responsible for the passenger personal travel documents. The passenger shall comply with government travel requirements, documents, passport, visas, Etc, to be presented at the airport. Passengers are required to pay their departure taxes or any new taxes enforced by any Airport.
No travel agent has the authority to alter, modify or waive any provision of our vouchers.

Latin Tours rate guarantee

LATIN TOURS Under the regulation, airfares and prices in general may be increased at any time, without notice. Because of this, LATIN TOURS can only guarantee prices for bookings which are fully paid to us prior to a price increase. LATIN TOURS cannot, and is under no obligation to provide a "grace period" during which bookings not paid or deposited as noted above, may be paid for the purpose of qualifying for a price guarantee. It is therefore recommended that full payment be made at time of reservation or if not at least a 50% deposit is required. Airfares are included in guarantee only if LATIN TOURS provides air transportation.

Cancellation policy for Regular flights and packages

Once a package has been booked and pre-paid, cancellation must be received in writing and incur the following penalties:

If received more than 30 days prior commencement of services 10% of total price will be retained
If received 29-22 days prior commencement of services 20% of total price will be retained
If received 21-14 days prior commencement of services 25% of total price will be retained
If received 13-07 days prior commencement of services 30% of total price will be retained
If received 06-03 days prior commencement of services 50% of total price will be retained
If received 02-01 days and on departure day 100% of total price will be retained considered "NO-SHOW"
If a passenger tampers with our vouchers, services would be automatically suspended and a penalty of 100% charged.

Note: Some special promotional packages will not allow any cancellation. Once a package has begun, there will be no refunds made for any unused or partially used features or services. For any reason, including sickness or other emergencies, optional travel insurance is strongly advised.

Cancellation policy for Charter flights and packages

Packages are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE

Date and Name change policy

LATIN TOURS will charge:

US$100 Dollars for date and name change after tickets have been issue.
The tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Airline Transportation

LATIN TOURS acts solely as an agent for the air carrier (s). Change of itinerary, Flight delays or Cancellations can occur and are completely outside of the control or RESPONSIBILITY, NOR LIABILITY of LATIN TOURS. In the event of a delay or cancellation the airline, NOT LATIN TOURS, determines and provides the compensation, if any, to be provided to the passenger (s).

International Charter Flights

The operation of these flights is subject to the approval of the foreign government involved.

Hotel Policy

Hotel cancellations are subject to each individual Hotel policy. Hotel services and amenities listed are subject to change without notice and at the discretion of the hotel. Hotel photos are representative only and do not necessarily depict the actual room in which guests will be accommodated.

Payments

All services provided by LATIN TOURS must be pre-paid with a 50% deposit within 48 hours of receiving a confirmation. Final payments shall be received fifteen (15) days prior to commencement of services. If LATIN TOURS does not receive payment by this date; we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Payments can be done at any of our branches in Cash, Credit Card or Links.

Credit Card payments for third party

LATIN TOURS policy require to sign and fax the Credit Card Authorization Form along with the copy of the Credit Card (front and back) and a signed photo ID, in the event of you paying for the third party. Failure to receive the same within 24 hours will lead to cancellation of the booking and the money will be refunded to your Credit Card.

Pick up of Tickets and Vouchers

The Tickets and Vouchers can be obtained at the airport from one of LATIN TOURS representative upon producing your printed Itinerary or receipt of payment, it could be mail to you also and (additional mailing fee, will apply) or you can pick it up at any of LATIN TOURS branches.

Baggage Rules

LATIN TOURS, nor the selling agent shall not be responsible for loss, damage or delay while baggage is in the custody of supplier. Optional travel insurance is suggested. LATIN TOURS allowed:

Suitcases Only two pieces of CHECKED SUITCASES not exceeding 70 lbs (Weight may vary with Air Carrier).
One piece carry-on only, must not exceed 15 lbs and must fit under the seat or the overhead compartment.

Dimensions for checked suitcases:

1st Checked suitcase: L + W + H = 62 Inches

2nd Checked suitcase: L + W + H = 55 Inches

Carry-on Dimension: 9 x 15 x 22 Inches

Our packages include:

Airfare, Airport assistance, Transfers In/Out, 3 Nights/4 Days Hotel accommodation, Meal plan as indicated, Government and Hotel taxes.
All package prices are subject to change without previous notice.
Any new tax or taxes that has be initiated by any country after our packages are posted must be paid by the passenger.

Prices shown represent recommended retail prices. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of our prices in print and when quoted by telephone. LATIN TOURS reserves the right to make subsequent adjustments if it is discovered that a particular price was shown or quoted incorrectly.

Our packages doesn't include:

Price does not include expenses and items not mentioned, including but not limited to air transportation, tips for personal services, meals, beverages, parking fees, insurance, resort fees, telephone calls, laundry service, cleaning and other items of a personal nature. Prices do not include airport/airline departure and immigration taxes, passenger flight segment tax, and any airport passenger facility charges that may apply; these taxes will be quoted and collected by LATIN TOURS at time of booking reservation.

Limitation of liability

By booking a LATIN TOURS vacation package, the receipt of payment will acknowledge acceptance from the passenger (s) of the terms and conditions written on this policy.

Certification

LATIN TOURS Wholesaler and Tour Operator holds a Travel Certificate (VT1650) from the Corporation of Tourism of Venezuela. Additionally, LATIN TOURS is a member of the Tourism chamber of Margarita Island (Venezuela) and legally registered as a Travel agency and Tour Operator in Venezuela, Trinidad and Tobago and the U.S.A.
