Escape, unwind, and truly refresh yourself with a getaway to Sandcastle a small hotel on White Bay, Jost Van Dyke, British Virgin Islands, set on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Caribbean. Small, friendly, laid-back, Sandcastle offers you the barefoot, rejuvenating retreat in the Caribbean that many have only dreamed of. Walk on our sparkling white sand beach, snorkel our fascinating reef, trade stories at our beachside bar, hike the hills and valleys, or lie in a hammock under a palm tree with a good book - serious relaxation is what Sandcastle is all about. Our accommodations consist of: Two 2-room beachfront 'rondel' cottages, Two 1-room garden 'rondel' cottages, Two 1-room garden-view units. All units have king-sized beds, ceiling fans, and inside bathrooms. The four 'rondel' cottages also have a daybed and can accommodate a third person. These units have outside, enclosed showers off the bathrooms, and the water is heated by the sun in tanks on the roofs. Our open-air, beachfront restaurant is the setting for all our meals. Lunch is a casual affair. Orders are placed at the bar and delivered to wherever you may be sitting. Our four-course candlelit dinner includes soup, salad, main course and dessert with coffee or tea. The resort has a good bar where you can meet interesting visitors from the sailboat crowd. The bar serves an excellent rum drink called a "Painkiller" which was invented here. The resort is very casual, no dressy clothing is needed. This is a small, very laid-back resort that is not for everyone. If you really want to "get away from it all" however, The Sandcastle is a great option.

Sea Crest Inn is located on the beautiful island of Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. With spectacular Views of Great Harbor, you can walk the beach or enjoy the views from your room. With advance notification many activities can be arranged such as Day Sailing, Sport Fishing, Power Boat cruise to other islands, Island Tours of Jost Van Dyke and neighboring islands. Or you can Swim, Snorkel or relax at White Bay, one of the most beautiful white sand beaches in the Caribbean. Lounge at any one of several local beach bars, Hike over the hill to White Bay or to the Bubbly Pool. What ever your desires, Sea Crest Inn can make them happen. Last boat to West End, Tortola leaves at 4:30pm. At West End, transfer to Jost Van Dyke "The When" (ferry), get off at Great Harbor and you will be greeted by our representative at the Customs Dock. On the weekend, direct ferries are available. Mona Queen and Sundance. The route is Red Hook, St. Thomas to JVD, via St. John, USVI. Departure hours from Red Hook are 8 am and 2 pm.
