In contrast to Trinidad, 'little sister'
Tobago is relaxed, slow-paced and largely undeveloped. It's very close to
Trinidad just 20 minutes by plane or 5 hours by Ferry Boat.
Tobago has a completely different feel from Trinidad. In
fact it is much more similar to the other Caribbean islands because it
has the more traditional beach hotels. Tobago is home to the oldest
protected rainforest in the Western Hemisphere. Once you behold her
beauty, you will understand why Tobago was Robinson Crusoe's isle and
think of the last undiscovered gem in the Caribbean. |

The South (Windward) Coast is
washed by the dark green, wave-whipped Atlantic and is lined with vibrant
fishing villages, while the North (Leeward) Coast provides Tobago with
some of its finest beaches. A perfect complement to bustling Trinidad.
Tobago is a true beautiful Island of the Caribbean Sea, whose sparkle
will live in your memory long after you have left her shores.

Because of its amazing wildlife, Tobago has been called 'The Galapagos of
the West Indies'.
The island is carpeted in thick, green rainforest
and graced with a backbone of rugged hills, offering spectacular views of
the blue bays and numerous small beaches that lie beneath them. There are
waterfalls, rivers and nature trails through the rainforest where a
staggering array of wildlife exists, particularly birds. The famous (and
loud) cocorico bird can be heard in the hills it is named after its
distinctive call and it is uncanny how its name sounds exactly like its
call. |

There are also trips to
Little
Tobago; an excellent day trip for bird
watchers (as the island is a Bird Sanctuary) , snorkelers or those who
just want to absolutely get away from it all. There are good glass bottom
boat tours to some of the best reefs in the Caribbean such as "Bucoo
Reef", located just off the coast of the famous and beautiful beach of
"Pigeon Point". Tobago has rich, colorful history and culture, this
provides a whole host of places to visit. Come enjoy this exiting
