This 192 square mile (landmass) British Dependent Territory comprises two island groups, the Turks and the Caicos, which are separated by the Columbus Passage and are situated at approximately 22 degrees longitude and 72 degrees latitude. Of the 40 islands and cays 8 are inhabited with a population estimated at 23,500. The capital, Cockburn Town, is situated on Grand Turk. Providenciales is the name of the major island and is also the name of the town. The chain of islands stretches from the Northwest with its Island of Providenciales to the East with Grand Turk. Providenciales is the business center and the core of developing tourism.

Our intimate resort, splendidly situated in the center of Providenciales, at beautiful Turtle Cove, provides the perfect setting for your vacation. We feature two restaurants, a fresh water swimming pool nestled in a tropical garden setting, plus an on-site scooter, car and bicycle rental, liquor store and complete dive shop.

All the rooms are tastefully decorated and come with air-conditioning, direct-dial telephones and data ports, cable television, safe, fridge and a private, but small, balcony or patio over looking the pool or the marina. There are fax and internet services for business travelers. Towels are also provided, although food is not.

While it is not directly on a beach, the start of Provo’s Grace Bay Beach is a short five minute walk away, alongwith one of the best snorkeling locations on the Island. It does have a reasonably sized freshwater pool and sun loungers. Also in Turtle Cove are two of the most popular restaurants, the Terrace, serving lunch and dinner and the Tiki Hut, which serves from 7am until 10pm. There is also a liquor store, jeep rental and dive shop right on-site.
